Walt has served in technology leadership roles with Fidelity, Gannett, BDM, TRW, and Ajilon Consulting, and held C-suite roles including COO, CIO, CMO, and Chief Digital Officer. Today, he is President of THG Advisors.

His career began as a technical officer in the U.S. Air Force, supporting nuclear weapons systems and challenging Cold War assignments. He holds a BS in Physics from Guilford College and a master’s degree in Public and Private Administration.

At Primary Capital Mortgage, technology changes under Walt’s leadership helped drive 205% growth in origination volume in just over two years. He was named Corporate CIO of the Year in 2014 and selected for Constellation Research’s 2020 Business Transformation 150.
